Yet Another 360 Price Cut?
August 1st, 2008 | by Tarun Kunwar |According to some Uber Mole deep within the confines of Microsoft, there are going to be price cuts on all three Xbox models this September. The Arcade, Pro (60 GB) and Elite will be marked down to $199, $299 and $399 respectively.
The New Xbox Experience can’t be the only reason for the added memory could it? This isn’t Sony people! I mean honestly, who’s planning on ripping games to their HDD eight gigs at a time? (Especially for those of us still sporting 20GB).
On a side note, some people are taking this Dark Knight thing soooo seriously…lolz!!

I would rip one, but for some reason they have this great idea of requiring the disc in the tray to play the game on the hard drive.
I understand why they did it, to prevent you from keeping a game on your hard drive that you don’t own, but I would like to do it for travel purposes. But for the very little performance difference, I am not sure it is worth it. The biggest one I see is to not have the disc spinning almost constantly therefor generating heat. But I mean come on, does it really matter after the CPU kicks in, that things gets hot, I burned myself on it after two seconds of it coming on (it was an accident).

I don’t plan on using any heat come this winter.
I assume that if I leave 360 on 24/7, my room will stay nice and cozy.
