Website updates
February 15th, 2008 | by Justin Nolan |You may have noticed the site was a little strange lately. Some spamming hackers exploited a Wordpress vulnerability and injected some javascript (popups) into the site. I updated to the latest version of Wordpress (which I should have done sooner) so that hole is now plugged. In doing so I alse threw out the old design. I never liked it. For now, this will do… nice and simple. I want to design a simple logo, but I’m out of ideas. Drop a comment or email (justin a@t 360insider d.o.t net).

stupid spammers, they keep hitting my site with spam in my comments. But they are easy to spot because they are the ones that make no sense. The new design definitely needs a logo, it feels empty without one.

Hey Punkster, if you are using wordpress you should really install Askimet if you haven’t already. It has block 8,739 spam comments on this site to date. About a dozen a year slip through the cracks which Wordpress catches and holds in moderation where I mark it as spam, and the Askimet database gets even better

Unfortunately I am not using Wordpress, I decided to write the code for comment posting myself. So unfortunately I don’t have that option.
