Call of Duty 4 Beta registration still open
August 28th, 2007 | by Justin Nolan |Due to the fiasco that was yesterday, registration is open until 7pm PDT tonight (Tuesday 7/28). It’s no longer first come, first serve, so go get your name in the hat. Get over there and register, and while you wait, check out our impressions of the beta here.

I’m really glad they changed to a random drawing. The site was absolutely nuts yesterday.

and i’m in…
but i still can’t help but feel like i cheated my way into the beta.
I bet there were thousands of others out there who were desperately trying to get into this beta and wound up getting screwed.

I am in it right now, but I am getting downloading game settings for about 15 mins now…

Not to make you feel any less special, but everyone who entered got in. Not everyone got their download code yet, though, as they are releasing them in waves. But if you registered for the beta, you’re getting an invite!

War is hell, but unless you experience it, there’s no way you can ever know if this statement is truth or hypercrap. If war is anything like what is experienced in Call of Duty 4: Modern then war is worse than hell. The long-awaited COD4, the true IW follow-up to the excellent Call of Duty 2,is a jarring, intense, and gripping take on war in the new millennia. The enemies are smarter, the weapons are deadlier, and there are far too many grenades and RPGs. COD4 will shake loose your fillings and have you begging for more. I did!
