Mass Effect either kicks ass, or blows

Gamespot and Destructoid both posted their impressions of Mass Effect being displayed at GC, and they couldn’t be more polar opposites. What Destructoid calls “emotionless voice acting and subpar facial animations,’ Gamespot calls the game dramatic, innovative, “exhibiting a lot of polish and flowing smoothly.” Destructoid says that it’s at worst, disappointing, and at best “not that bad.” Gamespot thinks it looks great at this point.
So who do you believe? (My vote goes to Mr. Brad Shoemaker. I’m not sure I’ve ever disagreed with him).
Update: Fixed all my gramatically errors. I wasn’t drunk when I wrote this, I swear.

bad voice acting can totally ruin a game…
Or make a game (i.e. G.O.W.)
Although from the clips i’ve seen of this game, the characters didn’t sound too cheesy.

yeah, the dialog system is the #1 thing they have been bragging about. Me thinks Destructoid just knows that bashing a much anticipated game will get it a lotta linky linky clicky clicky. Shit, it worked.

I don’t want to hear it Destructoid… This game is going to be amazing, and not for the graphics. It will play like kotor but is a 3rd person shooter and no lightsabers. Will o well. This game is the game that I am most excited for. Not Bioshock, Halo 3, Assassin creed, The orange box, Kane & Linch: Dead man, and Call of duty 4… Mass effect is the one that I have been waiting for for ever… I think this game is going tp be so good I will shit myself before I get home to play it and will play it for hours before I change my pants….

The game rocks… I absolutely loved it. Who the hell is destructoid? Who cares what he thinks. Anyway, best game I’ve played in a long time.. f* destructoid, he sux arse.
