Halo 3 four player online co-op confirmed!
July 31st, 2007 | by Justin Nolan |Despite the great scare earlier this month, Bungie has confirmed that not only will Halo 3 have 2 player co-op over Xbox Live, they will do you two better and make that four player! The long standing rumor is finally confirmed, and we can all rejoice.
You will only be able to do 2 players on the same console, be it offline, online, or system link. You can still jump in with up to two other players via Xbox Live, or LAN.
To prevent confusion, and the fabric of reality from tearing, not everyone will play as Master Chief. You’ve got MC, the Arbiter, and two new Elites. Full details are over at Bungie.

bad frikkin ass.
I knew they wouldn’t let us down. (Ignorantly hoping that Bungie would pull through worked).
I don’t think there were any co-op achievements were there?

They were meta game achievements though.

I’m not sure… were the achievements leaked or something? My guess is it will be like gears where you can get the campaign achievements in co-op, and maybe an extra achievement or two for playing as the other characters, or solo.
We will own Legendary!

There, see all that time some people spent on gripping was for nothing. If you are new to Bungies ways, nothing is final until you hear it from Bungie themselves. My guess is they are really smart, or they screwed up once majorly and don’t want to do it again (kinda like EB/Gamestop and their pre-orders on consoles after what happened on 360’s).
But never the less, YAY!
