E3 07: Three conferences down, E3 to go
July 11th, 2007 | by Justin Nolan |So the big three conferences are over. What did you think? There weren’t any ground rumbling announcements. No 360 or Wii price cuts. No major losses (or gains) of exclusivity. No new tattoos. We saw all the games we expected, and that was pretty much that. There were a couple so-so (aka who cares) announcements.
I don’t feel we are in much a different place than we were 24 hours ago. You can bet Wii will sell well through the holidays, as well as 360. Halo 3 will definitely move some systems, as well as GTA4 on 360 and PS3 alike. I think PS3 has gained some face amongst all its adversity. The “price cut” should help move some systems, and I am happy for them that didn’t lose MGS4. I think everyone is pretty happy with where they are. More importantly, I think as gamers, we should be happy where WE are. It’s a pretty damn good time to be a gamer. You better start saving that bank for this holiday season, ’cause there are some kick ass games coming out.

I’m actually kinda impressed with what Sony brought to the table. And did I hear Mario Kart will be online?

Yeah I think that Sony had the best presentation, then M$, and last is Nintendo for me. I have a 360 and the Wii and on PS3. Sony conference brought a lot of games to the table, while M$ really only showed 2007 games But I remember last year most of the cooler announcements that appealed to me were at X06, just wait until latter this year for X07. Maybe it is that Xbox 360 is my favored console but I think that they are doing great.
Wii was very slow paced, only a few things excited me.
Mario Cart, Wii fit and the blaster hook-up. I really don’t like fps on the wii I hope the blaster thinggy will make it much better.
And I wish I could afford all the games I want. I want about 12 Xbox 360 games, 2-4 Pc games, and a few Wii games. I will git a ps3 latter this year when there will be more deals, unless I cant afford it. I have $600 now. That is about 9 games of the 360 because I am getting Rock Band and the Ultimate versions of some games. Sorry but I want the MC helmet, and the Gta4 duffle bag.
