Making of Halo 3 Legendary Edition

Halo 3 Legendary Factory

Who would have thought that collectible helmet has 22 pieces to be assembled, with an additional 5 to the base? One of those bad boys is being pumped out every 12 seconds in the factory in China. The will sit in storage until the game and extra content is finalized and printed, when they will finish packaging 30,000 a day. Rinse and repeat until all 450,000 of these are in fans hands. If anything, it should make you glad your not a factory worker in China.

The whole article at Bungie is worth a read. It might help you justify dropping $130 for the Legendary Edition once you see all the work that’s going into this.

I’m not gonna lie, this game looks like it might have potential. It seems to have a nice Prince of Persia quality to it. Hopefully there is some good puzzle solving, and not all mindless sword fights. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End ships May 22nd.

Xbox Live down for maintenance next week

Next Tuesday, the 27th, Xbox Live will be undergoing maintenance and be down for *gasp* 14 hours! Before you pull out all your hair, rest assured the down time will be from midnight to 2pm (PST), so it shouldn’t effect your gaming mojo too much. If you really are that pressed for a life, Xbox.com has a convenient list of the top ten things to do on March 27th. Number 9 is my favorite.

Also note, this is just routine maintenance. No updates or fancy business.
