3 dead 360s in one apartment

The more you read on the net, the more you sense this is NOT just an isolated incident. While luckily these guys find it comical, they are by no means alone. It appears Sony has launched an Xbox 360 EMP (I kid, I kid), because I have noticed a huge spike in the number of broken launch consoles. They are all now out of warranty, so tons of owners are SOL.

I will be posting my own experiences in the near future, because awareness needs to be escalated, and something needs to be done.

    Easyer than the call center

    1. Just go to walmart and buy a XBox 360.
    2. Take the xbox 360 and put you old one in there.
    3. Take it back to walmart Say that you turned it on and it was broken
    4. You start to say you hate the xbox 360 and don’t one one replace.
    5. Say You want a new system, the ps3 or wii. (Only say this when there are not in the store.)
    6. And if they are in the store tell them you will bye a ps3 in about a week because of the expense cost.
    7. Also make sure that you walk out of the store with cash, no credit, unless you really want to shop at walmat.

    Walmart employees are not the smartest people in the world. I would guess that they don’t cheak them. I have taken a few back myself and no worries about ssn.

    If they say something, say that it must of been made a while ago and just now hitting the store. Probally why it doesn’t work.

    To not connect your Xbox to a surge protector. If your setup is set up like that. You can break your XBOX this way.

    Also the “Nyko Xbox 360 Intercooler” will also break your Xbox360

    If this does not help you may want to check the electrical wiring in your house. Any power fluctuation can break in Xbox 360

    Yeah, your welcome. I can’t wait until i do this for the xbox 360 elite. I will go buy an xbox 360 and return it and say it didn’t work. Thinking that the elite verson is better at the end so I just pay the difference. So I get a new Xbox 360. I hope it works.

    Ummmmmm…….surge protectors cannot break consoles. All they due is a put a fuse between your console and the socket. No change in power occurs at all.

    Yeah….surge protector will be fine, hes right, its just a fuse to STOP a spike from hitting your equipment.

    as for the intercooler, my buddy has one of those and has had no issues, and this is the firs ti heard of a cooling system messing your system up.

    please explain the cooler thing to me.
