Bungie Weekly Update – new Halo 3 details
Posted: March 24th, 2007 | Author: Justin Nolan | Filed under: Halo 3, Xbox 360 | 5 Comments »Frankie goes all out this week in his description of minor details. But as we all know, it’s all the small things that paint the bigger picture. And if Frankie is telling a smidgen of truth, the “picture” in Halo 3 is pretty damn big. Beyond the promised epic battle-scapes, think Rayleigh and Mie scattering, even more ridiculous water effects, “real” aerial dog fights going on above your head just fo’ sho’, and even some seagull and cockatoo hunting. Yes, at the moment even the wildlife caught in your crossfire are mere mortals. Frankie warns, though, it could be one of the first things to go if they need the precious processor cycles.
If you need you’re Halo 3 info fix, give the full update a read.

wtf happened to 360 insider? where’d the forums go? is this still run by justin?
-an original fan of 360 hacker
Hey trogdor3222, yes, this is still Justin. Sorry about the abrupt change, there was a message up on 360 Insider for a day or so before I switched URLs. My interests have broadened and I don’t want to be limited to only writing about Xbox. As you’ve noticed, it will probably still dominate this site since it’s still my platform of choice.
Thats pretty sweet you remember 360 hacker. That was a good time ago!
*sigh of relief*
Am I blind or did you just recently add the “©2007 Justin Nolan” thing? Because I would feel pretty stupid if I didn’t catch that before. Anyway, I’m glad you’ve decided to expand the site’s topics, being a PC/Wii/360 gamer myself.
Keep up the good work!
Yes, I changed the footer and added the bylines after your post
Glad to see this updated, however it is now spring, can you get a update about halo 3 beta version, and new halo 2 maps?
